For more than 45 years SOLCERA has been developing and selling ALBUZ® spraying nozzles for agricultural applications. The outstanding properties of our nozzles make ALBUZ® the unrivalled leader in ceramic spraying nozzles. Millions of farmers across 47 countries trust ALBUZ®. The development and manufacturing, from raw materials to assembly and quality control, is done in our plant in Normandy, France.
The ceramic specialists
With over 200 years of history, SOLCERA has been supporting the development of advanced ceramics in France. Owned during an extended period of time by major industrial groups like Saint-Gobain, Lafarge, Pechiney and more recently CoorsTek, it is now an independent company with its 2 facilities in Evreux and Moissy-Cramayel.
Our strategy relies on an extensive know-how in designing and manufacturing technical ceramics, as well as glass-to-metal and ceramic-to-metal assemblies. Our products and solutions are based on advanced technologies, making use of a wide range of oxide and non-oxide ceramics developed in-house.

Know-how and innovation
Always attentive to the needs of our customers and focusing on co-development, SOLCERA designs and manufactures products that meet the most demanding environments: corrosive or abrasive applications, high temperature, electrical insulation, high pressure, cryogenics, vacuum and ultra-vacuum resistance.
ALBUZ® nozzles perfectly fit with this focus. We provide technical support right from the nozzle design stage and we are proactive in finding solutions for developing prototypes able to validate new ideas. The long-term partnerships with our customers, the internal transmission of knowledge and our R&D team dedicated to innovation are all key elements that ensure the growth of our company and the longevity of its know-how.
Our facilities are both vertically integrated, giving us complete control over the entire manufacturing process: powder preparation, shaping, heat treatment, machining, finishing, assembling and inspection. The production of prototypes as well as small and medium-size series is carried out by our specialists, whose broad expertise and know-how have built our company’s reputation for excellence.

ALBUZ® offers excellent precision spraying as well as an exceptional resistance to wear, abrasion and chemicals. Manufacturing ceramic nozzles is a complex process that we manage through extended know-how and process control combined with our ISO system.
ALBUZ® ceramic nozzles are made of a specific pink alumina oxide material that is nearly as hard as diamond. Their wear resistance is far higher than that of other materials such as stainless steel, brass or plastics. We guarantee a high spray quality and excellent flow rate precision, which allows our nozzles to be certified in numerous countries. The correct use of our nozzles will enable you to both optimize and reduce the cost of your agrochemical treatments which also reduces the ecological impact of spraying.
